TICKET PRICES AND DETAILS FOR 2012 SEASON:
The North Pole Experience™ is the critically acclaimed Santa Experience located
in the idyllic and breath-taking
resort ski/summer destination of Flagstaff, AZ.

For over 400 years, my secret in using “magic portals” to travel the World to deliver
children toys on Christmas Day has been my most guarded secret. I have decided
to share my MOST SECRET, guarded location nestled deep in the Flagstaff forest.

Flagstaff is nestled at 7,200 feet
and is framed by the majestic San Francisco Peaks
that tower over 12,633 feet, and the home of the Arizona SnowBowl. North Pole
Experience trolley departures and arrivals start from the Little America Hotel, located
just 4 miles East on I-40 off the I-17 interchange. Flagstaff is recognized as Arizona’s
prodominant winter sports and family fun playground creating the perfect setting
for Santa’s grand workshop vision and an ideal winter destination for families of Arizona.

The High Country Holidays in Flagstaff create the perfect winter landscape filled with holiday spirit
and many events for our NPX families to embrace including the Arizona Snowbowl, multiple snow play areas,
the Flagstaff Nordic Center, dog races, the Northern Lights Holiday Parade, ice skating at Jay L. Lively Activity Center and the Great Pine Cone Drop to name a few, etc. It is an amazing winter destination for all!

NPX has moved from Greer to Flagstaff questions.

1. We visited NPX in Greer. Is this the same thing? Why did you move?
Yes, the North Pole Experience™ originated in the village of Greer and had 3 unbelievable seasons resulting in critically acclaimed reviews, major growth with the 2011 season selling out. Unfortunately the remoteness of Greer, lack of available restaurants/food options for guests, reservations support and the requirement by resort owners to mandate two-night minimum stays during the weekends, Santa found it optimal with its world-class infrastructure, to move the portal closer, now just 2 hours away from the Valley. Santa also now has a much larger workshop to maintain and enhance the NPX to a level of “experience” by all. We will always love the village of Greer and we  appreciate their support during our wonderful three-year run there.

How to book with ease.

2. IS THE NORTH POLE EXPERIENCE AN OPEN EVENT? CAN I BUY
TICKETS ON THE DAY OF?
The North Pole Experience is an intimate family setting and set at a fixed capacity.
The Candy Cane and Snowball Express trips will be held at a 50 person maximum for transportation through
Santa’s “Magic Portal” to the North Pole and his workshop. All tickets and lodging
packages are STRONGLY SUGGESTED to be purchased in advance by telephone
with an NPX Little America Reservationist at 1-888-469-8819 or online at www.northpoleexperience.com.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday’s sell out every year, so early booking is strongly recommended.

3. Is it possible to drive up and “experience” the North Pole Experience, but “not eat, or stay the night?”
Definitely. One of the #1 requests we received in our random online questionnaire, was “we wish NPX was closer to the Valley so guests had the option of driving up, and driving home to be back for work if need be.” With our move to Flagstaff, families now have the complete flexibility to book the entire package, or book North Pole tickets seperately  and maintain their own schedule with lodging/travel. NPX in Flagstaff is also one hour closer (round-trip) than the Polar Express® train ride in Williams, AZ, which makes it great to travel for a short stay-cation, or experience both Christmas events in the same weekend.

3. WE WOULD LOVE TO TRAVEL WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY, CAN WE COME AND EXPERIENCE THE NPX TOGETHER, AND STAY TOGETHER? ABSOLUTELY. One of the most wonderful aspects of the North Pole Experience, is that you, your family and friends can stay together in many cabins sprinkled around Flagstaff or book your reservations together at Little America. All Flagstaff cabins are independently owned and operated and not affiliated with the North Pole Experience, or the Little America Hotel. Cabins come in all different ranges and sizes from 4 to 15 occupants per cabin. The Little America Hotel accommodates many NPX guests with a maximum occupancy of 6 in pre-selected rooms. You can reach the Little America Hotel for hotel rooms at 888-469-8819.

4. WHAT MAKES THE NORTH POLE EXPERIENCE™ DIFFERENT / UNIQUE COMPARED TO THE POLAR EXPRESS® TRAIN RIDE OR OTHER “SANTA” EVENTS?
The North Pole Experience™ is a Christmas Experience unlike anything else. NPX is a “hands-on/interactive” experience where children and their parents are actually allowed into Santa’s Toy Factory and workshop. There your children will work with the elves to assemble toys, tour Santa’s toy hall of fame and factory, attend Elf University, and even meet Santa himself for one-on-one family time, and photos. Afterwards your children can snuggle together for story time with Mrs. Claus, while the parents can enjoy a fun-filled and relaxing experience as well around a large open fire in the Little America Lobby.  The entire experience is a magical, full of light, sound and workshop action.

5. CAN WE STAY AN ADDITIONAL NIGHT, OR NIGHTS BEFORE OR AFTER OUR EXPERIENCE PACKAGE, TO ENJOY ALL THE WINTER WONDERLAND OPPORTUNITIES IN FLAGSTAFF AND THE ARIZONA SNOWBOWL? The Little America only allows one (1) night rentals for NPX guests at their special NPX rate due to the amount of guests that attend the holiday tradition each year. NPX ticket holders may stay for additional nights with a small added fee, or at other local Flagstaff accommodations. We also allow guests to dine at other area establishments at their discrection. ALL NPX Tours depart and arrive back from the Little America Hotel as this is the trolley station for the North Pole. Please arrive to NPX Check-in at Little America no later than 45 minutes BEFORE your scheduled departure.

Snow skiing is only 15 minutes away from the Little America Hotel, located at Arizona SnowBowl, Arizona’s most acclaimed ski destination. Sledding, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, quadding, snow play areas, Flagstaff Nordic Center, sled dog races, the Northern Lights Holiday Parade, ice skating at Jay L. Lively Activity Center and the Great Pinecone Drop to name a few. You can reference this website for research regarding winter recreation information at www.flagstaffarizona.org/playing_winter.html or Flagstaff’s Winter Recreation Map that is available on www.flagstaffarizona.org.

15. HOW FAR IS THE DRIVE TO FLAGSTAFF AND THE NORTH POLE EXPERIENCE?
The drive to Flagstaff is a beautiful transition from desert vegetation, to the cool mountain pines as you near the ski resort destination of Flagstaff. Depending on weather conditions, you should plan on a 2 hour drive from Phoenix, and 3.5 hours from Tucson and Albuquerque.  We recommend utilizing MapQuest to route your NPX excursion at:  http://www.mapquest.com

16. HOW ARE THE ROAD CONDITIONS, AND WILL I NEED A 4 WHEEL DRIVE?
Road conditions can vary by the weather conditions. We encourage our NPX guests to check road conditions prior to their departure via the National Weather Service. Front wheel drive is highly recommended at a minimum, and four wheel drive is strongly recommended. We are located at a designated ski resort city at 7,200 feet in altitude. NOTE:  I-17 and I-40 are the major highways that intersect on the outskirts of Flagstaff, making Flagstaff one of the best driving conditioned roads with the State of Arizona highway department doing what they do best.

17. WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR (DRESS/ATTIRE) FOR NPX?
Be prepared for wintery conditions and colder weather. You should dress appropriately as if you were travelling to a ski resort destination. For the NPX Experience Trip, children are encouraged to dress in pajamas with boots or shoes, and a jacket, gloves & hat. Once inside Santa’s factory, children can roll up their pajama sleeves and work side-by-side with Santa’s elves to build toys, with parents support!

18. WEATHER CONDITIONS, WILL THERE BE SNOW?
While Santa really likes good snow cover on the ground for landing his sleigh, snow conditions can vary in the Flagstaff area. We are nestled at 7,200′ feet which provides for a good potential for a winter experience. If snow conditions are light, or non-existent on your experience date, rest assured the magic and hands on experience of NPX will be a treat to your family no matter what.
